David, School of Tantra of the Heart, Formation of Psychodynamics of Relations and Body Communication, 4th meeting, 2024
Reflecting on my recent experience at the Tantra School of Joyful Moments, held in the profound setting of the shamanic theatre of life, I find myself moved by the depth of insights and transformations I encountered.
The workshop was a journey into the intricate interplay of Yin and Yang—the feminine and masculine energies within each of us—and a powerful exploration of the programming that shapes our perspectives on life, sexuality, and our authentic selves.
Through guided practices, each building on the last… We were invited to unearth and challenge the deep-seated conditioning that often obscures who we truly are at our core essence. This process felt both liberating and confronting, as it required peeling back layers of societal expectations and personal fears. For me expressing my anger has always been hard for me and I have often chosen to not threaten the connection by being honest about how I feel. But in finally doing so, I began to reconnect with a more primal, unfiltered version of myself—one capable of expressing truth with full abandon and power. And WOW… My relationships were strengthened, not threatened. Who would have guessed??
One of the most profound aspects of the workshop was the emphasis on breathwork as a tool for connection and transformation. Learning to breathe deeply and consciously—to truly inhale the life energy of the Earth—opened a gateway to receiving the abundance that is our birthright. This practice was not just about accepting the good in life, but also about embracing the immense responsibility that comes with stepping into a path of wholeness and power.
It’s a safe and sacred space for us to explore our vulnerabilities and strengths. We danced between polarities, embodying both softness and strength, receptivity and action, surrender and assertion. This dance was not about choosing one over the other but finding harmony within the dualities, allowing both energies to coexist and inform our actions.
As I reflect on the experience, I am struck by how much of my transformation came from learning to express myself authentically. The exercises encouraged us to drop the masks we wear in daily life and to connect with others from a place of raw truth. It was a revelation to witness the beauty and power that arise when we allow ourselves to be fully seen—in both our light and our shadow.
Moving forward, I carry with me a renewed commitment to authenticity and a deeper awareness of the energies that shape my being. And breathe… Did I mention breath… I am reminded that the journey toward wholeness is not a destination but an ongoing process of embracing all parts of myself — the divine and the human, the masculine and the feminine, the joy and the responsibility.
This workshop has left an indelible mark on my path, reminding me that stepping into my power is not about domination or control but about aligning with the truth of who I am and courageously sharing that truth with the world. It is a call to live with intentionality, to breathe deeply, and to honor the sacred dance of life in all its complexity and beauty.
